Tarmac are the UKs leading sustainable building materials & construction solutions business. They lead in the supply of construction materials comprising aggregates, asphalt, cement, lime, concrete, road contracting, building products and recycling services.
Tarmac wants to be seen as an “excellent employer”, they want their staff to feel empowered, actively engaged and involved in what they do and most importantly they want their staff to develop their digital skills. Through recent surveys they identified a gap in the market and wanted to provide effective training to up-skill their staff in the use of their IT systems.
What we provide
Elliott Training were approached to create three courses in Google Sheets – Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced. These courses were offered to all their staff, the uptake was tremendous, resulting in huge time saving techniques being applied back in the workplace.
The feedback has been extremely positive, with courses continuing to be booked throughout 2021. We are also now working with Tarmac to create bespoke courses in all the MS Office products for additional staff who are using these products as well: –
